About the Project
We created a house the family will not need to keep reworking every few years. The interior feels current today without being tied to short-lived trends, which allows it to live through a full decade until the family’s planned move to Europe.
Context
A young family expecting a new child wanted a home robust enough for the next ten years instead of one that would require constant updates. Their main fear was a quickly aging interior, so they needed a calm, timeless design built on quality materials and furniture that would stay relevant until their move abroad.
Object and Task
A custom villa in Jumeirah for a young growing family. The goal was to create a ten-year interior before a future move to Europe, focusing on the first floor: entrance hall with staircase, living room, dining area, and island kitchen.
Completed Works
Turnkey renovation completed in nine months. Two future children’s rooms on the upper floor, currently arranged as guest rooms with electrical planning ready for later family needs. Key materials and brands: Trend-forward yet durable materials. Italian furniture, lighting, and sanitaryware. A calm sandy palette throughout.
Result
The villa now carries a sense of soft, confident luxury that works for young parents today and for older children later. The entrance, living room, dining area, and island kitchen operate as a coherent stage for daily life and family gatherings, while the future children’s rooms are already structured to adapt without disruptive rebuilding.
