About the Project
Over six months, we turned a familiar “rental” apartment on the Palm into a truly personal home for a couple living between two cities. Arriving in Dubai now means returning not to anonymous serviced apartments, but to a home of their own, with thoughtfully selected furniture, quietly separated private bedroom suites, and a sense of intentional comfort in every detail.
Context
A married couple who had spent years moving between Moscow and Dubai were tired of living in a space that still felt rented, even after they bought it. They needed an interior that would adapt to their rhythm across two countries, respect each person’s privacy, and turn a familiar rental shell into a thoughtful, comfortable home.
Object and Task
A 135 m² two-bedroom apartment in Shoreline on Palm Jumeirah with views toward Burj Al Arab and Downtown. Designed for a mature couple who spends half the year in Dubai and half in Moscow; they had rented before and later purchased the property to remodel it for themselves.
Completed Works
Interior redesign on the existing shell without replanning. Furniture sourcing, including pieces selected in Italy after a sourcing trip to Milan showrooms. Full implementation completed in six months while the clients were away. Key materials and highlights: Five different textures in the master bathroom. A hand-painted feature wall. Backlit onyx delivered from Moscow. Separate bedroom suites and bathrooms for husband and wife.
Result
The apartment no longer reads as a temporary stay on the Palm, but as a deeply personal home designed around the couple’s real routine. The strongest emotional moment is the master bathroom: a layered composition of five textures, custom art, and illuminated onyx that turns ordinary daily rituals into a private spa experience.
